My daughter Reese seems to have found her passion

My daughter Reese seems to have found her passion in Lacrosse and I’m lovin’ it. Watch this clip from early in the season as she sprints towards the other side of the field to grab a loose ground ball in traffic. Only for her to blow right past the defenders for the goal. In only her 2nd season of her playing, she continues to amaze me and I’m here for that journey. She even wears number 11, just like her momma did back in the day. Here’s to looking forward to a great off-season in the summer with @frenzylc

Four years ago, I got the chance to surprise Carri

Four years ago, I got the chance to surprise Carrie and my daughters for our 15 year anniversary. I always look back at that time being so special because when my girls were really little, they would always look through our old wedding album, and ask us why they were never invited to our wedding, LOL. So I planned a private dinner at Seven-Degrees in Laguna Beach (the place where we got married), and I re-created our special day just for them. Initially, the girls thought the plan was to do a family photo shoot somewhere in Laguna Beach, then eat dinner at a nice restaurant nearby. They didn’t realize that we were going to our old wedding site. I remember telling them that we should sneak into this spot to see what it looks like, or ask if we could get a quick tour.

But when the girls walked in, music was playing from our old playlist. A photo slide show was projected up on the walls. A single table was waiting for us with a centerpiece inspired by decorations we used back then. We had our own private waiter with an Executive Chef preparing our dinner. They played our old wedding montage during dinner, and I prepared a new video montage reflecting on our time together as a family throughout the last 15 years. Such a dope night!

So today we celebrate year 19, and we get to reflect on memories like this. Hoping it leaves a lasting impression on my girls, and I hope one day they get to have their own experience like we did. Hands down, there’s no way I could ever top this! But I got a year to figure it out for year 20…😉 Happy anniversary @cyhernandez
